Join us for the 2nd Annual Kidsave Barnstomp Car Show Supporting Kidsave Summer Miracles Colombian Orphans!

The Second Annual Barnstomp Car Show and Auction benefiting the Kidsave Austin Summer Miracles program will begin at 4PM May 14th, 2011. We are raising money to being orphans from Colombia this summer to help them find permanent homes in the US. We have live music, hot rods and show cars, silent auction, live auction, trophies for the cars, games for the kids, cash bar, BBQ Dinner, and fun for all!

Show cars are $20 entry fee (includes one entry and event t-shirt). Tickets are $10 at the gate. Children under 12 are $5. Event T-shirts $15.

These are just a few of the faces that Kidsave International hopes to bring to the US this summer from Colombia. These orphaned children have virtually no chance of being adopted in their home country of Colombia because of their age – they are 8-13 years old, which is well outside the baby and toddler stage that most families pursue when adopting. But, something magical happens when you bring them to America, where families can meet them and interact with them in person. They fall in love. And Kidsave boasts a 90% adoption rate for these kids. Amazing! Kids who would otherwise likely age out of the system find permanent families in loving homes because of Kidsave and the work that they do to care for the forgotten children.

There is much work to be done still to make sure the Kidsave Summer Miracles kids make it to Austin in 2011. There are plenty of ways to help. We are in desperate need of donations and host families.
